Hello Lovely Parents and Students,
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, isn’t it? So wonderful with holiday busy-ness, places to go, school concerts to perform in and general craziness that our Winter Piano Concert will take place after the hubbub of December, in early 2014. Next week is the last week of lessons until Christmas holidays; there will be two lessons after the holidays before the concert. Keeping this in mind, along with the fact that students generally a break from piano practice and homework during Christmas break, I ask all of you to practice your concert song, or remind your student to practice their concert song, periodically over the break so the performance in January won’t come as a total shock:) For my adult students yes, I know most of you’d probably rather eat nails than play in the concert – that’s completely ok, no nail eating will be necessary, and I invite you to come anyway to see your fellow piano students perform and meet some nice people afterward at our small reception. St. Catherine’s Anglican Church is located at 1058 Ridgewood Dr (just off of Highlands Blvd) in North Vancouver. There is no street parking in front of the church, but ample parking in the back lot.
